American Civil War Range (updated 1/28/08)

Redoubt has a HUGE range of American Civil War Figures.  This range features models with separate heads.  The heads come in packs of six, and are included when you order a pack of miniatures.  There are many different head packs, and with them you can customize your men with different headgear (or lack thereof).  You can even make mounted and dismounted men with matching faces - perfect for you skirmish wargamers out there!  When you order, please be sure to specify which type of heads you want with your order!  You can check out the different head packs available by clicking here. Don't forget to check our Updates Page for more great new releases from Redoubt Enterprises.

All figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled.

Click here to download a clip from the crime show, C.S.I. where some of Doug's ACW collection is used during an episode! Fun stuff!

The Goliath and Crew
Model is 20" long and 7" wide ... Lift off roofs, five turntables mounting five mighty guns, skylights, sliding doors, hatches, flagstaff, raised pilots cabin, a gantry for loading stores or slinging the ships boat in and out of the water, plus thirty man crew of sailors and marines.

ACW IRONCLAD THE MONITOR (price $80.00)
At 21" long, this is a BIG model!
Based on the original U.S. Navy Ironclad, the wreck of which was recently discovered, this model is over
21 " long and comes complete with a turning turrent which encloses the two immensely powerful 11 " guns.   This turret is provided with two lift-off tops, one with a hatch open and an awning, for travelling and the other with the hatch closed for "Action Stations".  The tops can be left to fit loosely so that they may be removed to reveal the six man crew serving the guns.
The crew lounging on deck between actions.

ACW IRON PLATED TORPEDO BOAT C.S.S. DAVID (price $50.00)
This semi-submersible, iron plated craft, was responsible for the sinking of the hugh Union Navy Ironclad in Chariston harbour.  The model is approximately 8” long, with a central well containing the boiler, engine and ships wheel.  Complete with a crew of two and fitted with a long spar mounting the explosive charge, it is all ready to steam into action and cause havoc among the Union Navy ships.

ACW IRON CLAD CONFEDERATE RAM (price $100.00)
This ship is armed with two mighty 12" rifled cannons on swivel monts, that can be turned internally to face in different directions and equipped with a lift-off roof to reveal a crew of eight.

MEETING/COURTHOUSE INCLUDING CIVILIANS (price $90.00)
(App 9” x 6" not including the tower) This beautilully modelled building can be used as a meeting house or courthouse.  The model has a lift off roof and a tower that can be repositioned in several locations and is packed with interior detail, including a number of removable pews and opening doors.  This type of Dunker church/courthouse was very common across the whole area over which the Civil War was fought and can be seen in many photographs and paintings of the period, including the famous picture of the Union Generals seated on the pews before one of these graceful little buildings.  They were also common during the time of the American War of Independence.  To go with this lovely model we have created a set of civilians, including a preacher, a gentleman and his lady, a farm worker and his wife and an old servant.
